I’m a fully qualified fitness instructor with an ante and postnatal course under my belt, to boot. The classes are a combo of circuits and HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), but the twist is that they are fully adaptable and of course, include those all-important pelvic floors (sorry boys).
These sessions are for body and mind – as a mum to a two-year-old, I get what it’s like to be cooped up all day and understand how important it is to get outdoors. Fresh air and nature work wonders for helping tired, been-up-all-night mamas. It’s amazing how much energy being active gives you!
We’re a baby feeding friendly group, so whether you’re breast or bottle feeding and have a hungry baby mid-class, that’s fine by us!
Everyone is welcome – the NHS advice is to wait until after your six week medical check before starting any exercise, so we work to those guidelines too. If you’ve had any complications, or a C-Section, then you may be required to wait a little longer.*
These sessions about you – we want you to have a bit of time out and have fun getting fit, so if your little one is unsettled, I’ll do the rocking so you can carry on with the class.
What do I need to bring?
All you need is a water bottle and some leggings and a t-shirt. Easy.
(*All attendees accept full responsibility for themselves and Mamas Who Move takes each member on their word.)
